Since the start of book buddies, I have noticed a change in her reading. I was very pleased with how you challenged her but at the same time, listened as she struggled in the beginning. Being a peer, I know Kai looks up to you and values your opinion.

I want to thank you because Kai received praise from her teacher this week. She surpassed her reading goal! She was super excited! Kai said she was glad that you and her are reading in book buddies because it's helping her to achieve her school goals. She then proceeded to say," I wouldn't have been able to do it if Bryce and I were not doing book buddies."

Palmer read very well today! I am seeing a lot of growth! So proud of her!

You're little human is building confidence in other little humans... so amazing!! I can literally go on and on in the changes I have seen in Palmer.

Bryce is a very critical support to Sara during this pandemic where socialization is limited and in-person learning is near impossible. Sara looked forwards to every Sunday where she got to do live reading of “Woof” with Bryce. Though the reading time might be only 20 mins, it provided her with much required socialization with a consistent buddy and familiar structure as if she had in school.  Reading with a peer of similar age is really beneficial and sometimes work better than reading with grown up such as we parents. 
We got a summary from Bryce after each reading session on the pages being read and the followed up reading to be done by Sara.  This encouraged continuity of the reading program after the session.
Bryce may be young but she is really professional with her email responses. She is punctual in every session.
We are amazed by how Bryce and her reading program are able to boost Sara’s reading skill, and it was evident in her improved Lexile reading assessment. We are very pleased with this reading buddy program and will strongly recommend this to all kids who want to develop the love for reading or who love reading.
